Auburn Hills, Mich--A special exhibition, "Hot Rods and Cool Mods," is running at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum through Aug. 20, 2006. The wood-bodied 1948 Chrysler Town and country convertible saw new life after being customised by Ed Nicol. The hot car parts features frenched headlights and taillights, shaved rear fenders, an all-new interior and a 426 Hemi engine, power steering, power brakes, power windows and air conditioning. It was lent for the exhibit by Nichol.
